TEACHER TRAINING 2018
with Allison Linamen, Jeff Bass, and Konstantin Epishin
The Still Yoga Teacher Training is a 200hr comprehensive program that covers a broad range of disciplines. Throughout the course, trainees will be guided on a path of building an individual yoga practice. There will be special emphasis on embodied awareness, and students will be encouraged to become their own teacher. The training provides a strong foundation in the study of anatomy and physiology, covering both the physical and energetic body. Trainees will study the philosophy of yoga and the exploration of ancient texts, such as the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads. We will also practice meditation, breath work, mudra and mantra.
This is an intensive program that meets over ten weekends. Applicants must have a desire to immerse themselves deeply in yogic study for the entire duration of the course. This program is designed for a small group of focused practioners.
